01

What is DaoDial

DaoDial is a decentralized video conferencing and communication platform built for Web3 communities. Unlike traditional platforms that rely on email and centralized accounts, DaoDial uses blockchain wallet authentication to create secure, exclusive spaces for communities.

Built on Solana, DaoDial enables DAOs and crypto communities to host meetings and maintain persistent chat rooms where access is controlled by wallet ownership. This creates a native Web3 experience where your wallet is your identity.

02

How It Works

DaoDial operates on a simple principle: your wallet is your access pass. Here's how it works:

Connect Your Wallet

Sign in using any Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.). No email, no password, no signup forms.

Create or Join

Create meetings with custom access requirements, or join existing meetings and councils that your wallet qualifies for.

Communicate Securely

All communications are encrypted end-to-end, ensuring privacy and security for your community discussions.

03

Key Features

Wallet-Based Authentication

Connect with your Solana wallet for instant access. Your wallet signature proves your identity—no traditional login required.

Video Conferencing

High-quality video and audio meetings with screen sharing, recording capabilities, and real-time chat during calls.

Persistent Chat Rooms

Councils provide always-on chat spaces for ongoing community discussions, separate from scheduled meetings.

Access Control

Meeting creators can set custom requirements for who can join, creating exclusive spaces for specific communities.

04

Meetings

DaoDial meetings are scheduled video calls where community members can gather for discussions, presentations, or decision-making. Each meeting has a unique code and can be configured with specific access requirements.

Meeting Features

  • Schedule meetings in advance or start instant calls
  • Share unique meeting codes or direct links
  • Video, audio, screen sharing, and live chat
  • Optional meeting recording (with participant notification)
  • Support for up to 100 participants

Meeting creators have full control over their meetings, including participant management and the ability to end meetings at any time.

05

Councils

Councils are persistent chat rooms that provide ongoing communication spaces for communities. Unlike meetings which have start and end times, Councils are always available for members to drop in and participate in discussions.

What Makes Councils Different

While meetings are scheduled video calls with defined timeframes, Councils serve as permanent community hubs. Members can send messages, share updates, and maintain ongoing conversations without needing to schedule a call.

Council Features

Always-on text-based communication

Message history and search

Emoji reactions and rich text formatting

File and link sharing capabilities

Security & Privacy

Security and privacy are fundamental to DaoDial's design. We've built the platform with Web3 principles at its core, ensuring your communications remain private and secure.

Wallet Authentication

All authentication happens through cryptographic wallet signatures. We never store private keys or passwords. Your wallet proves your identity without revealing sensitive information.

End-to-End Encryption

All video, audio, and chat communications are encrypted end-to-end using industry-standard protocols. Only participants in a meeting or council can access the content.

Minimal Data Collection

We collect only what's necessary to provide the service. Your wallet address is your identifier, and we don't require personal information like email or phone numbers.

Blockchain Privacy

While we verify wallet ownership, we only check what's necessary for access control. Your full wallet contents and transaction history remain private.
